Submission Policy
Submissions are currently: Closed
Check out what we like to read below and then if you think your story is a fit, query us.
- Currently, we have a few genres we prefer: memoir, fiction, and YA fiction. We are open to fiction and non-fiction with religious, spiritual, or recovery themes as long as the story leaves us with hope in the end. We do appreciate a touch of wit and dark humor, and we like stories of people on a quest to find themselves. If you can write about a sensitive topic and make us laugh we want to read it.
- We’re not interested: historical fiction or non-fiction, military.
- At the end of the day, the story is what matters most so if you have a compelling, well-written story that needs to be told, send it our way.
All queries should go to: info (at) dreambigbooks (dot) love. Please address your subject line as follows: QUERY: (title of the manuscript) (e.g. QUERY: The Space Between).
Feel free to include in the body of the email the first 10 pages so we can get an idea of your writing. We do not open unsolicited attachments. We look forward to reading your story.
If submissions are closed, please do not query us or send unsolicited manuscripts, as this means we will not respond. We don’t like feeling ignored and we’d prefer not to ignore you either, so let’s not do that. Thank you for understanding that if submissions are closed it’s because we’re dedicating ourselves fully to the current projects at hand.
